Snag (snag list)
A snag is a defect or unfinished detail found on site, such as a chipped tile, an uneven shutter or a missing handle. A snag list collects them so each one is fixed before handover.
In practice
Snags come from walkthroughs, quality checks and the client's own inspection. The risk is not the snag itself but the list nobody owns: it sits in someone's phone while the client waits.
In Pakka
A failed QC creates snags and rework tasks, each with an owner. Snags age, and open snags hold the handover. A vendor's retention is released only when their snags are closed.
