How a 70-person execution company runs 20+ sites without the evening phone calls.
Fulcro started on Pakka in April with the Ops Desk, then added Money and Sales as each desk was built. Today 30 people use it every day, across more than 20 projects.

Fulcro: A technical execution company in Bangalore that builds for other design firms and runs large commercial and retail projects. Uses the Ops Desk, Money Desk, Sales Desk.
Fulcro is part of the group behind Pakka. Pakka was built inside it, and inside its two sister firms.
Before Pakka.
- The evening phone round.Project managers called every site engineer each evening to find out what had happened that day.
- "I never approved that."When a variation raised the price, some clients said they had never approved or selected it. Without proof, it became an argument.
- Measurements after the ceiling closed.Once a false ceiling is closed, there is no way to measure or show the quality of what is underneath. Disputes with clients and vendors followed.
- Vendor bills took weeks.Settling a vendor's final bill meant checking with site, procurement and accounts, and arguing over quantities nobody had agreed at the time.
With Pakka.
- Site updates arrive on the phone.Engineers send the day's work on WhatsApp. Project managers see it without calling anyone. If a site goes quiet for a couple of days, the owner and the ops head are told.
- Engineers and vendors are briefed automatically. The day before a client meeting on site, the engineer is reminded, including which samples to keep ready. Before the next milestone, the vendor is told on WhatsApp when delivery and start are due.
- Approvals have proof.Clients approve variations through their own link, which records when they opened it and what they approved. Money approvals need a code sent to the client on WhatsApp.
- Measured and certified before it is covered.Measurements and quality checks are photographed and certified on site before the ceiling closes, so neither the client nor the vendor can dispute them later.
- Vendor bills settle in days, not weeks.Measurements, QC proof and milestone records sit in one place. Finance has everything on one screen and no longer checks with three teams. The eight-week forecast helps collect from clients on time.
The dispute that ended in minutes
A client questioned a variation that had raised the price of their project. In the past, that conversation could run for days and end with someone losing.
This time the record showed when the client opened the link, what they selected and when they approved it, with the WhatsApp code they entered for the money approval. The conversation was over in minutes, and the relationship was intact.
“We settle vendor bills in days now, not weeks. Everything is measured, photographed and approved before anyone asks for it.”
